You should avoid using any kind of pacifier or bottle as what resources you consult tells you for the first six weeks of your baby’s life. Your baby must need to learn how to suck and must be practiced on the real thing. This will make you satisfy, there are some few reasons that the experts are right.
Some experts also consider the nursing apparel you are going to use. If you want to enjoy while nursing your baby, it is one very important area you will aslso have to consider. The comfort you fell while wearing such nursing clothing will make you comfortable with nursing your baby. Have proper contact with your little one and let go of the pacifier – it’s not a good nursing apparel for this time.
One reason is that mothers must teach their body how much milk to produce. If your baby will sucks more, your body will produce milk more. The best way to descirbe this, is the old economy 101 theory of supply and demand. There is no better way of knowing what the demand is than putting your baby on the nipple.
Another reason is sucking must be learned to your baby. Babies “root” as an innate action after birth. Can they suck properly at a breast nipple compared on how they suck to a pacifier or bottle nipple? Not always. Babies suck differently on the breast than on the pacifiers. Opening the mouth much wider will make the baby latch properly onto the breast. In orther to avoid nipple soreness and eat enough to begin gaining weight, mothers must teach their baby to latch properly as soon as possible.
You must follow and listen to the experts because they are experts on it, they know what to do just follow their rules as best as you can. Your baby will learn how to latch sooner than later and you will be producing milk at great quantities right off the bat. Instead of losing it babies will GAIN wieght in the first 2-4 days of life when it is effectively done.
In the new world of your baby you must spent some time of learing the basic needs for your baby for his safety. Adapting his new surroundings, your baby Must Have a skin on skin contact while nursing because it is his first few weeks. So for the new moms, please pull out the real thing when your baby wants to suck and get rid of the pacifiers.
